Jane Schopmeyer Obituary
Lafayette - J. Joyce Schopmeyer, 89, of Lafayette, passed away at 11:00 am on Friday August 3, 2018 at Cumberland Pointe in West Lafayette.
Joyce was born February 18, 1929 in Brazil to the late Robert and Mary (Stearley) Daniels.
After graduating from Brazil High School, Joyce married John Leon Schopmeyer and he survives.
She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and enjoyed collecting and displaying antiques.
Surviving along with her husband John are her children, Rita and Bill, and five grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Joan (Max) Funk of Brownsburg.
Friends may call from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at Soller-Baker Funeral Homes Lafayette Chapel at 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909. A private family burial will take place at Spring Vale Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Bowers officiating.

We were sorry to hear of Jane's passing. Our prayers are with you & family. We won't be able to attend viewing as we now live north of Ft Wayne. It is hard to believe so many years have passed by. But it is people like you & Jane that make life Fun & Exciting. I have any fond memories, because of both of you.
