I just learned of Jeff's passing today. I am so sorry to hear this news. I met Jeff in 2011 when I began participating with the Master Gardener group. He was so full of energy, enthusiasm and fun. My heart goes out to his wife and family. What a light in a sometimes dark world we have lost!

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Jeff's passing. He was much too young. I regret that I cannot attend the services, but please know you all are very heavy in my thoughts. May peace come to you all through this difficult time - Aunt Christy, Jada, Jonathon, Jordan, and Jackson. I will always fondly remember Uncle Jeff as a good-natured, fun-loving, jokester of an uncle. He will be missed greatly.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. He led the Master Gardener classes when I joined. He was so nice and would go out of his way to help in any way he could. If he didn't know the answer he would work to find it. Just an all around good guy. My condolences to his family.

Christy and family,
I am stunned to learn of Jeff's passing. When he was the interim at the Extension Office, he hired me as the Program Assistant. He was kind and always smiling. I loved that he was a big kid at heart! I'm so sorry for the pain you must be feeling. May God give you comfort through the love of family and friends and the kind words of the people who knew and loved Jeff. God's peace to you.

I am so sorry to hear this. Jeff and the rest of the Phillips family grew up with mine in Harmeson Heights. We had the life-playing baseball everyday, tag and making clubhouses in the cornfields. He was an everyday fixture in my younger years as were so many others. We were all lucky to know him.
Peace be with you

Phillips Family, I am moved by our Lord to write this and hope that you know even more the lives Jeff touched. I knew Jeff through the master gardener program out off of 52. He help me a lot with my garden and I appreciated everything he said and did. He was kind, thoughtful and was very easy to talk with. My prayers are with all of you but know that Jeff is with our Lord now.... and God is pleased how Jeff navigated through life to honor Him.

The simplicities of life pass us by without us realizing or knowing why,
Looking ahead but just wanna try
To somehow return to an earlier time,

Gone too soon the count is rackin up,
Lord just give us strength to somehow
Be tough,
Why does it happen where does it all make sense
Why is it always at a good ones expense

We will never understand, hard as we may try
All we can do is pray, and believe theyll fly high
Someday we will meet again in a mansion in the sky
Until that day, tell the others we say Hi

Love you Uncle Jeff
Rest in Peace
