There are no words that can comfort at this time. But what I do know is that there was never a kinder, classier, loving, full of life, southern gentleman than Jerry Cole. He loved and lived life to the fullest. He taught us all how to open our hearts, our minds, and our homes to those in need. It was my pleasure and honor to know Jerry during my time at Lafayette Life. The few times he and Faye visited our church, Dayton Memorial Presbyterian, the love he and Faye shared and his love of God were evident by the smile on his face. When I joined Lafayette Life in 1998 Jerry was one of the first to welcome me. Then I new little of him but quickly learned and over the years since have great recollections. The best that personifies Jerry's absolute comfort in who he was was in Nice,France when My wife and I saw him for the first time in his Capri pants walking hand in hand with a Faye. Really great guy.
