18, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
Kat was born January 14, 1999 in Lafayette. She was a kind-hearted, no complaints type of girl and always willing to lend a helping hand. Kat was passionate about her family and loved spending time with them, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved the outdoors, hunting, singing, and her animals. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
She is survived by her father, William L. (Natalie Boyles) Richardson, Jr.; her mother, Kristal Kohl, grandparents, Mary and Joe Gilliam, Lois Fischer, and Bill Richardson, Sr.; siblings, Jeremy Loveless, Jennifer Hodge, Amanda Kohl, Jessica Richardson, William Richardson, III, Kristina Richardson and Mae Dillman; Kat's companion, Jerome Weis; numerous nieces and nephews and close friends.
Kat is preceded in death by, grandfather, Russell Kohl; and an uncle, Nick Kohl.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette. Private family services will follow on Monday at the funeral home with interment at the Historic Springvale Cemetery.
