Terri -- Through the years you've been loyal, devoted, and loving as your Dad lived with his injuries. You drove many miles and prayed many prayers to bring him comfort. He must have been a wonderful father to raise such a daughter. My deep condolences to you and your brothers and sisters. What a gift from God to have Larry Leuck as your Dad.

My grandpa was the greatest. I will truly miss him. I remember working in the garden with him and running back inside to help grandma with snapping the green beans. I will always keep them near to my heart. Rip both of you love you!

Larry and I were classmates and we were soldiers; we were buddies. We traveled and worked together. We saw the western states in 1951. Larry was a great guy and will be missed by all who knew him. R.I.P. from Frank Little, Ambia High School, Class of 52.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Leuck family. We both thought a lot of Larry and Pat. Bonnie also became a bright spot in his life. I really enjoyed working with him at the funeral home and he always saved a spot for me to park. He will be missed by many. May you find comfort in the coming days in the fact that he has now been made whole again.

Grandpa Leuck,
No words can describe how much I miss you. I just wished I was there to hold your hand through the last days of your life! I didn't think that last kiss on the forehead would ever be the last. But it was. All I have now if the memories and the spirit of you. And I know when I have a concert or a musical, that you will be in that audiance watching me. And When I get married, you will be right there with me. I may not be able to see you, but i can sure feel you are here. I will never forget about you. You, Grandpa, are the sunshine of my day. You are in a better place now, with Grandma Leuck. I miss and Love you forever and always.

Such an amazing man with so many amazing memories! I will cherish every memory I have of Larry and Pat all my days. They had a huge impact on my childhood and I can't even imagine growing up without the Leucks next door. Thankfully Larry was there when we were little to warn us about the giant snake that lived in the tree out front! My last visit with Larry was bittersweet we talked about so many wonderful memories and some very sad times too. May he rest in peace. Your family is in my prayers and thoughts. Love, Jenifer

This candle is lit, Larry, to guide you straight to Heaven where your family who has gone before you are waiting with open arms and smiles. I hope you plant a big garden in Heaven, and throw in a few dozen sunflowers for those of us who always loved to see your sunflowers growing - they were huge and beautiful! I will be remembering you in my prayers and you will always be missed!

I will miss my favorite cousin. I will miss the fun and jokes we played on each other, like when Shirley Leuck Scherer and I threatened to crash your wedding but hiding under the organ in the choir loft at St. Marys! You are Shirley are probably laughing about it right now! I'm still working on the alphabet Larry. Thanks for showing me how to hold a bat to hit a ball when I was so young. Tell Larry Hagman, JR Ewing I live in his hometown now.

I had lots of fun growing up and admiring you, cousin. Shirley and I SHOULD have crashed your wedding like we threatened to! You can have fun now with her talking about it and how we were going to hide under the organ in the choir loft. I never told you that, did I? Now your family knows the rest of the story! You can tell Larry Hagman I live in his hometown.

A grandpa is home,
He supports you,
Holds you,
Cares for you,
Most of he loves you.

It begun with a simple seed,
in his simple garden.
As it bloomed into prosper,
so did we.
Side by side we watered,
supported,
and harvested.
We created something,
not just a seed,
not just a garden,
not just a home,
we created a connection,
one that will last forever.
One that begun with a seed.

A grandpa is home,
He supports you,
Holds you,
Cares for you,
Most of he loves you.

Fun Summer :)

March 21, 2013

Grandpa Leuck,
I will miss the summers that we used to spend together in your garden and the funny moments that we had together. I loved spending my summers with you; it will always be something I will cherish. I even loved the tone of your voice; something about it made me love you even more. I even like watching you do your wood work as you carved these perfect shapes. I was always fascinated by everything you did. I always wanted to be next to you even if you were all sweaty, for some reason I didn't mind because I was next to you. I am the type of person who never wanted to be touched, but you were almost the only person I wanted to be touched bye.
I am going to miss you and going back this summer will be strange as I am used to spending my time with you. Even if it might be strange, I will be thinking of you and I will know that you are free and happy.
I am so happy that we created great memories together over the course of my childhood. Keep your sense of humor and your smile until we see each other again. I love you?
