As a friend of Lynn's daughter Amy in high school, I spent lots of time at their house. I always felt at home there and enjoyed Lynn's great sense of humor. He could always make me laugh. My deepest sympathies to the Sterrett family.

Lynn was my boss at Lowe's a long time ago. He was great. He worked hard and expected the same. I still remember him telling me how he lost his finger and I still cringe thinking about it. I'm glad I worked for him and had the pleasure to know him. Deepest sympathy to his friends and family.

Mr. Sterrett was a caring man, the one thing I remember most is him risking his own life twice to save a man from the blizzard of 78. He went out a second time and drug a man a good 75lbs heavier than him through drifts and deep snow to his house and saved the mans life.
