Marty McGrath Obituary
Marty H. McGrath, 50, of Lafayette, was found deceased in his home on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. He was born December 31, 1962 in Lafayette to the late Amel (Red) McGrath and Sue (Hollis) McGrath. He graduated from Benton Central High School in 1981, where he enjoyed various athletic activities such as baseball and track. He then went on to marry Carol (Goodman) McGrath in 1987. He enjoyed many different outdoor activities, mainly fishing and landscaping. Surviving are his son, Benjamen A. McGrath of Lafayette, his daughter, Bethany Y. McGrath of Fowler, his 2 sisters, Colleen (McGrath) Fleming and Linda (McGrath) Twadelle, and his brother, Michael McGrath. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from 5 to 7 pm with the funeral at 7 pm at Windler Funeral Home, Fowler.

Sorry for your loss, I went to school with Marty from grade school to graduation. I seen him two years ago after not seeing him for 30 years and he was still the soft spoken nice person that I remember. I will greatly miss him.
