Am very sorry to hear of Matt's passing. He was a sweetheart. Aunt Betsy would bring him and Jenny to some of our Allen get-togethers. Our Adam and Jenny were close in age. Sincere sympathies to your family.

Not only did everyone is Attica know Matt; everyone loved him too. That impish grin in the photo is a perfect way to remember his good nature, witty humor, and genuinely kind heart.
As parents and friends, we send our love and condolences.

Matt was one of my favorite students. He had the most generous, inspiring, kind, and welcoming personality . Everyone he met became his friend. Matt's fellow students and his teachers were always in awe of his zest and spirit for life. My deepest sympathy to his loving family.

I am so saddened to know that Matt is no longer here on earth. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Matt and Jenni have been my friends since childhood. We had lots of sleepovers and Matt always enjoyed doing what we were doing. I remember one morning we were all sitting around the table eating cereal and Matt thought it would be funny to pop his eye out. At first I was alarmed, but then he started laughing hysterically and I couldnt help but join him. It was then, I knew Matts humor and personality was so much like mine!! I loved the summer time when we couldnt wait to get to the pool! It was there and at swim meets that so many special memories were made during our early years! I remember when he was home last. I just walked up behind him and started talking and he immediately turned around and said AMBER! and we hugged. That was the best conversation we ever had!! So thoughtful, so caring, so loving and always a forever friend!! Fly High Matthew!!

Mattie Bob! We met at Ball State K/E Hall where we quickly became friends. His patience to teach the sighted (me) the game of goal ball will always make me giggle! His laughter & mischievous smile will be missed. (Hugs) to his family & friends.

My God. He was like a little brother to me. I babysat for him and his sister through high school and have happy memories of my time with him and his family. He was a joyous child and a happy adult. So many accomplishments. Nothing stopped him. He was an inspiration.

I remember seeing Matt after he was born in the house next to Mimmy, my grandmother. Several years later he and I played basketball at McDonald park. He always made my day and I always left with a smile after visiting with him. Godspeed my friend.
