Nora Adams Obituary
Lafayette - Nora Ellen (Lilly) Adams, 65 of Lafayette Indiana passed away at home peacefully on 06/09/2021.
She was born March 29, 1956 in Nimitz, West Virginia to Gerald and Shirley Lilly. She attended William Henry Harrison High School, West Lafayette, Indiana.
Nora (Bunny) was known for her giving heart and love of children (especially her grandchildren). She was able to find humor in almost any situation. She was a professional daycare provider for many years providing nurturing care, and touching the lives of so many children tended by her.
Nora had a great gift for art, creating miniature sets for doll houses as well as painted knick-knack decorations. She enjoyed music, especially 70's rock. She was an avid reader of the Bible, loved to cook, and could not pass up on a good bargain. She had a tremendous love for her family. She also loved her trips back to West Virginia and visits there.
Known for her kind and generous heart, she was much loved by her family from the day she was born. Bunny will be much missed by all.
Survivors include her sons: Bryan Adams (Lafayette), Stephen Adams (Lafayette). Her grandchildren: Madison Adams, Trey Adams, Willow Adams, and Kaiden Adams.
Her brother, Rob Lilly, Columbus, Indiana, and her sister, Katie Green, Peterstown, WVA.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Bill Adams, her daughter Maggie Adams, her mother Shirley (Kramer) Schau, and Step-dad Ray Kramer.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Rev. Steve Newton officiating. Share memorials and contributions to www.simplicity-funeralcare.com.

We are so sorry to hear of Nora's passing. She was a wonderful silly woman, we had the pleasure of knowing. She babysat our kids and couldn't have asked for a better person. Our children loved how fun she was. She always had them happy when I would pick them up. She will always be remembered.

I worked with Nora many years ago at CTS Microelectronics. I remember her being sweet, kind and funny. I ran into her a few years back, and it was like she had never aged. What a beautiful person she was. Rest in peace. Prayers for her family.

I am so sorry to hear about Nora’s passing. We lived next door to her when I was a young kid and I used to come over and play with her son and the day care kids. She was always so kind to me and a great neighbor to my family.
