Peggy Schlorch Obituary
Peggy S. Schlorch, 70, of Lafayette, died at 12:25 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2012 at Indiana University Health.
She was born November 28, 1941, in Sylacauga, Ala., to the late Luther and Lena Holderfield.
On March 12, 1989 she married Irvin Schlorch, in Lafayette, and he survives.
Peggy drove a bus for City Bus, in Lafayette, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving along with her spouse is a daughter, Lena (husband: Gary) Nelson, Brookston; a son, Ed (wife: Regina) Frier, Lafayette; a daughter, Jody (husband: Jeff) Schneidau, Lafayette; stepdaughters, Danielle (husband: James) Gulitz, Rossville, Robin (husband: Todd), Baxendale, Lovell, Wyo., and Michelle (husband: Walt) Holliman, Linden; a brother, Delayne Holderfield, Lafayette; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2012 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, with funeral service following the visitation at 7 p.m. on Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. The Rev. Brian White will be officiating.

Peggy was a very warm-hearted, sweet lady who will be greatly missed. I haven't seen either of you for several years, but I will never forget all of the warm, welcoming talks that we had when I worked in rental management. I'm very sorry for your loss Bud.

Peggy was an inspiration to anyone she ran across. Even though we were not blood related she treated myself and all my children like her own. She will be very deeply missed by my whole family.
