Phyllis Overley Obituary
Lafayette - Phyllis A. Overley, 71, of Lafayette, passed away at home surrounded by her family on May 7th. She was born May 4, 1947 to Thelma (Tyrrell) Redmon and the late Charles Redmon.
Phyllis graduated from Lafayette Central Catholic High School in 1965. She attended Indiana Business College and worked for Purdue University for 30 years in the reservations department of Purdue Memorial Union.
She married Jerry "Bruce" Overley in 1966. She is survived by her loving husband and three children, Jan Overley - Hirt (Harvey), Tim Overley (Jessica) and Julie Overley (Chris). Phyllis is also survived by Chrissie Overley, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild, a brother, David Redmon and a sister, Ann Hudson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Biddle and a brother, Daniel Redmon.
The family will be having a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the charity of your choice in honor of Phyllis Overley.
