Robert E. Buck

Lafayette - Robert E. Buck, 90, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020.

He was born on October 20, 1930 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Elmer William and Annie Jane (Gray) Buck. Robert served his country in the United States Army from 1951-1953 where he was stationed in Germany.

He worked for USPS as a Postal Clerk in Lafayette for 30 years until his retirement. Robert was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan and IU fan. He loved to travel and had been to 49 states among other places.

Surviving are his children, Dennis (companion-Carolyn Farrester) Buck of Lafayette and Juanita (Steven) Robertson of Alford, FL; his companion of 39 years, Becky Hodgen of Lafayette; and his siblings, Anita Douthit of Lafayette and Franklin (Meg) Buck of South Bend. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Donald Robertson, Tina (Corey) Zink, Bryan (Angela) Buck, Melissa Buck, and Kandy Buck and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Douthit

A Private Burial will be in Montmorenci Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Robert. You may leave condolences and memories online at www.fisherfuneralchapel.com
