Wilma E. Kulage Kirsch, 76

Wilma E. Kulage Kirsch, 76, of Monticello, died at 11 am, Monday, September 9, 2013, at her niece's home in Cedar Lake, IN.

She was born on June 18, 1937, in Gary, IN to the late Justice and Bertha (Little) Shanks.

Her first marriage of nearly 25 years was to Clarence "Dee" Kulage. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1991. She later married Harold "Gene" Kirsch on December 23, 1993 and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2003.

She was the receptionist at Monticello Chiropractic Centerfor over 10 years. She enjoyed quilting, but spending time with her family was what she enjoyed most.

She is survived by a sister, Bertha Harms (husband: Walter) of Merrillville; loving niece and nephews, Joyce Termini (husband: Frank) of Cedar Lake, Walter Wahlsmith (wife: Vickie) of Dyer, Joseph Wahlsmith Jr. (wife: Terri) of Columbus, OH, Arthur Harms (wife: Mary) of Gurnee, IL, and Ralph Harms of Washington D.C.

She is also survived by her great-nieces and nephews, James Termini, Sarah Vinson, Anthony Termini, Alan and Claire Harms, Melissa Wahlsmith, Jennifer Bilka, and Walter Wahlsmith II.

Preceding her in death with her parents and husbands are a sister, Nedra Wahlsmith, niece, Cindy Wahlsmith, and nephews, Scott and Jerry Dean Wahlsmith.

Friends may call from 12 pm (EST) until the time of funeral service at 1 pm (EST), Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Clapper Family Funeral Home in Monon. Reverend Matthew Zajicek of First Assembly of God, Portage, IN to officiate. Interment to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Monticello.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice Care Facility of your choice.
