Matthew McClain Obituary
Matthew was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bob Foster and Lomax McClain.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Foster and the Rev. Rex Ware officiating.
Surviving are parents, Gregory and Susan Foster McClain of Jacksonville; sister, Lauren Foster of Wilmington; brother, Nathan McClain of Jacksonville; nephew, Adrian Terry of Hampton, Va.; his grandmothers, Frances McClain of Jacksonville and Maynell Foster of Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

My heart goes out to your family in this time of grief. I am so sorry for your loss. My son Raul was very good friends with your son. I also lost a son jonathan Jones, who was 19 almost 2 years ago. I will always remember you coming over and hanging out with Josh and the boys, skateboarding and on the ball field. I always loved your cheerful demeanor and that contagious smile. Although your time was cut short, you always lived life to its fullest so keep on and remember when you get to where you're going ride hard, but enjoy the ride. Our hearts go out to your family and pray that they get through this. We will miss you but we will never forget you.
