Rachel Iva Musselman

MILTON, Ind. - Rachel Iva Berry Musselman, 71, of Milton, Ind., passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind.

Rachel was born in Trenton, N.J., on Aug. 27, 1939, the daughter of the late Lois Raymond and the adopted daughter of the late Heber and Iva Berry of Machias, Maine.

Formerly of Straughn, Rachel has made her home in Milton for the past 46 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to read, sew, do puzzles and watch game shows. She was an advid bingo player and member of the American Legion Post 169 Women's Auxillary.

Survivors include one son, David Griggs of Milton; five daughters, Debbie Glisson of Orlando, Fla., Sherry (Bobby) Schoettmer of Connersville, Shelia (Joe) Tompkins of Brookville, Shannon (Byron) Ayers of Columbus and Jenni (Ernie) Roberts of Connersville; four brothers, Andrew, Frank, Danny and Steven; two sisters, Faith and Agnes; 16 grandchildren, Samantha (Travis), Erma (Mike), Katrina (Justin), Josh, Tyler, Shane, Stephanie, Dylan, Brandon, Nick, Toby, Cheyenne, Nate, Tanner, Taisha and Trevis; five great-grandchildren, Justin, Alexander, Audrey, Garrett and Xavier.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011, at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Rev. Danny Berry will officiate. Burial will follow at the West Side Cemetery in Milton. Online condolences can be made at www.marshallanderleweinfuneralhome.com.

Rachel was a wonderful person. I spent alot of time at her house when I was a kid. I hung out with her kids. She will be missed.
