Billy Edwards Obituary
He was born in Burnsville, N.C. on Sept. 6, 1948, to the late Gaither and Zelma Jennings Edwards.
Billy was a loving person who always put his family first no matter what! He always was a hard worker for any task. He enjoyed wood working and fishing.
Left to cherish his memories include his wife of over 45 years, Judy Whisnant Edwards; sons, Danny Whisnant and fianceé Jennifer Nalley; Bobby Whisnant and fianceé Erica Coleman; daughters, Summer and Brandy Lowe; grandchildren, Ashlee Keller, Hayley and Garrison Whisnant, Levi Lowe, Dawson Champion, Alexis Whisnant, Marina and Kylie Murray, Jasmine Johnson, Skyee Leatherman and Tialina Crawford.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Long Creek Cemetery with Chaplain Greg Qualls officiating.

Sometimes i think the lord just gets lonely and wants new people to keep him company! Im sad my dad is gone. I know he is in a better place. This life has ended to start a new one. What better place for a woodworker to be than with the greatest carpenter ever. Love you pop's. I know you will be waiting. See you later.

Ssnding lots of prayers and love to this family. I've laughed with them all , cried with them all and now I mourn with them all. Billy was a great man. I pray for peace for the family in the coming days, weeks, months and years.
