James Troutman Obituary
He was born in Frogtown, Clarion County, on November 11, 1939, the son of the late James and Mary Alice (Dodson) Troutman.
James worked as a laborer at Brookville Lumber Company.
He was a member of the Saints Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church.
He was an avid oil painter of scenery and loved taking photographs. James also loved camping and being out in nature.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine J. (Biggie) Troutman who he married in 2002; and two brothers, Ronald Troutman of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Gerald Troutman of Brookville.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on January 3, 2025, at 10 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville, with the Rev. Father William Laska officiating.
Arrangements are at the direction of the Shumaker Funeral Home Inc. of Brookville.

Jim (and his handsome brothers) were a good influence in my early years down on the waters of Redbank Creek. He had a very unique sense of humor and always showed the positive side of life. I regrettably lost track of Jim in the last few years, but always thought he was a fine man and genuine friend. Rest in peace Jim, you made an positive impact while you were here.
