Laura McIntosh Obituary

Laura Renee' McIntosh, 41 of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Laura was born January 10, 1976 in DuBois, a daughter of James and Deborah Kunselman Fleckenstein who reside in Punxsutawney.
Laura loved life and being in the peace of the outdoors wheather she was reading or kayaking on Cloe Lake or just enjoying the farm with her dog Izzy. Laura loved going to the beach since she was a child and vacationed often in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with her family.
She earned her Masters Degree in 2012 in Child Psychology and worked for Brookville Behavioral Health. She also taught in the Brookville School District.
She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband; James A. McIntosh of Punxsutawney and beloved mother of three children; Morgan Leigh McFarland, Graham Michael McFarland and Liam James McIntosh all of Punxsutawney. Laura is also survived by her loving sister; Julie A. Skierski and husband Sean of Collingswood, NJ., along with many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins.
At Laura's request there will be no viewing but instead there will be a Celebration of Life where friends may come to celebrate and share memories of Laura from 2-6 pm on Saturday, September 16. downstairs at the social room of the Eagles in Punxsutawney on East Mahoning Street. Please bring a special memory of our Laura on a card to share with her family. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contribution's to C/O M.G.L. Fund, 512 West Mahoning Street, Punxsutawney, PA. 15767. All arrangements are under the direction of the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
