Priscilla Allgeier Obituary
Priscilla M. (O'Donnell) Allgeier, age 93, a resident of Jefferson Court in Brookville, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was born on September 24, 1931, in Kahletown, PA, to the late John P. and Catherine (Songer) O'Donnell.
She graduated in 1948 from Sigel High School in Sigel, PA.
She married her true love, William T. Allgeier in Brookville, PA, on October 17, 1959, he survives. Their lifelong bond of love and devotion lasted for over sixty-five years and was deeply cherished in the life they shared together.
Priscilla worked for Sylvania in Brookville, PA for over fifteen years. She enjoyed pastime activities including crossword puzzles, cooking, and gardening.
Priscilla was very involved in the Immaculate Conception Parish in Brookville, PA, including the choir, religious education classes, the Altar and Rosary Society, funeral dinners, and the annual flea market.
Priscilla was dearly loved by her family as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. They were the focal point of her life, and she treasured the moments they shared together. Throughout her lifetime, her faith and family provided a guiding force. Priscilla was a kind-hearted individual, who loved without reservation and was known for her compassionate nature alongside her unwavering commitment to values. Her endearing qualities will stay in the minds and hearts of those who will miss her the most.
Priscilla is survived by her son Dennis W. (Sally) Allgeier of Brookville, PA, and her daughter Catherine M. (Joseph) Eck of Limestone, PA. She is survived by one grandson Michael D. Allgeier; three great grandsons; Alexander, Caiden, and Grayson Allgeier; she is also survived by her sister Mary Bandanza, brother James O'Donnell, and her identical twin sister Rosezella Weaver; as well as numerous family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by ten siblings; John, Charles, Robert, Paul, Francis, Anne, Gertrude, Helen, Cecelia, and an infant sibling.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale Rd., Brookville, PA 15825. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Immaculate Conception Church, 129 Graham Ave., Brookville, PA, beginning at 10:00 a.m., and officiated by Father William Laska.
