Mrs. Anna Lou Taylor Elliott, age 75, of Jefferson passed away Thursday morning, November 16, 2017 at her home.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Rich Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Dollar, Rev. Jeff Dollar and Rev. Carlton Houck officiating. Burial followed in the Brown Cemetery.
The family received friends on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Elliott was born in Ashe County, NC on May 5, 1942 to the late Glen and Bessie Parsons Taylor. She was a lifelong member at Rich Hill Baptist Church, and loved her church. She was the owner and operator of A&M Florist. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband, family and church family; she will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Norman Elliott; one son, Steve Elliott and wife Terri of Hickory; one daughter, Stephanie Henderson and husband Barry of Huntersville; one brother, Dr. Earl Taylor and wife Nancy of Mountain City; one sister, Margaret Goodman of Jefferson; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
