Norman L. Osbourne of Bare Creek Access Road in Jefferson passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was 84.
Norman is survived by his wife, Lucy Crepps Osbourne of the home; one daughter, Margaret Marze and husband Charles of Jefferson; two granddaughters, Amy Blevins and husband John, and Amanda Marze, all of Jefferson; one grandson, Craig Marze and wife Ly of Boone; five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, and Nathaniel Blevins, all of Jefferson, and Reina and Kyla Marze, both of Boone, and one brother, Glenn Osbourne of Cumberland, Md.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Cecil and Mary Pillon Osbourne; one sister, Elenor Campbell, and one brother, James Osbourne.
Military graveside rites and burial for Norman L. Osbourne were conducted Saturday afternoon, March 28, 2015 at Big Ridge Cemetery in Ashe County. Officiating was the Rev. Steve Goss and Pastor Sidney Crunk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Big Ridge Cemetery Fund, c/o Lucy Osbourne, 283 Bare Creek Access Road, Jefferson, NC, 28640, or to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS, 66675.
