David Comer Obituary

CASEY -- David Alan Comer, 59, of Casey, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 15, 2005) at his home. The funeral will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Casey with the Rev. Marvin Oakley and Glen Rosborough officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. at the church. He was born March 17, 1945, in Palestine, son of Miles Ray Comer and Ruth Evelyn Lockman Comer. He married Ruth Ann Manning in 1987; she survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Marjori Comer of Greenup and Laurel Cutright of Greenup; four stepsons, Douglas, Gary and Eric Finney, all of Casey and Steve Finney of Marshall; a stepdaughter, Vicki Zakowski of Robinson; a brother, Richard Comer of Casey; 13 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Comer worked at USI Chemical in Tuscola for over 25 years and Pap-R-Products since 1997. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, the Round Grove and Cumberland County Sportsman's Clubs and a life member of the National Rifle Association. Memorials may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church rural Casey.
