Donna Nadler Obituary

Donna L. Nadler

July 24, 1961 - August 18, 2025

Donna L. Nadler, 64, of Windsor, passed away at 9:00 a.m., Monday, August 18, 2025 in her residence.

Celebration of Life services will be 4:30 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2025 in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with Pastor Mike Craig officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2025 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Online condolences may be sent to the family at reedfuneralhome.net.

Donna was born on July 24, 1961 in Redding, California, the daughter of Donald Rex and Dixie St. Clair Snider. She retired after 30 years as a journeyman wireman from IBEW Local #146. Throughout those 30 years she was co-owner of Nadler Electric. She was a member of the Restoration Church. Donna married Jeff Nadler on October 16, 1993 at Mattoon, Illinois.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff; children: Becky Comstock of Sullivan, William Riley (Krissy) Comstock of Charleston, Dustin Rex Comstock of Ashmore and Levi Cade (Ashley) Nadler of Sullivan; grandchildren: Kylee Freese, Clark Freese, Riley Comstock, Kady Comstock, Cade Nadler, Lyla Nadler and Colt Nadler; great-grandson, Owen Mason; brothers, Paul (Sue) Snider of Charleston and Mike (Karen) Snider of Galesburg; sister, Paula (Randy) Matheny of Burlington, Illinois; nephews: Maison Kile and fiancé, Sara of Goreville, Illinois, Logan (Rachel) Kile of Pana and Clayton (Morgan) Kile of Creal Springs, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Donna's greatest joy in life was being a mother/grandmother. Her grandchildren were truly her world, and every smile, laugh, and milestone was cherished deeply in her heart. She built her life around making sure her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nephews, friends, and all those she came around always knew just how loved they were.

A natural hostess, Donna had a way of bringing people together and making them feel at home, whether they lived just down the street or many miles away. Her selfless spirit and warm presence left everyone she met feel cared for, valued and embraced.

Donna's legacy is one of unconditional love, compassion, and generosity. She was a remarkable woman who gave so much of herself to others and never asked for anything in return. Her absence will leave an unfillable void in the hearts of her family and friends.

She will be remembered always and missed beyond measure.

Jeff and the family would like to request that no pictures or videos of Donna's visitation or service be posted on any social media. Any photos or videos of the proceedings shall be kept for personal use only. We sincerely hope that everyone involved will respect Donna's visitation and the families request. If Jeff sees or hears of any post of the funeral on social media, he will be on your doorstep to take it up with you.
