Ron and I were very good friends of Jim and Lola especially when we all were young and had young children.

We had some really great parties and lots of wonderful memories were made. I can look through old pictures and have a good laugh!

I also was fortunate to know Pat. She has turned out to be a good friend and was very caring of Jim.

Jim, you ornery old copper, I can see you stiring up "trouble " on cloud 9. Look down on all of us and put in a good word to the "boss" for all of us. Give Lola a hug from both of us.

Silly old Grandpa. Boy will we ever miss you! To my family:I love you all more than you'll ever know! We are Riecks, remember that! Lets keep this family as strong as ever, in meomory of Grandpa and what he stood for. Stay tough and hang in there guys, it will all be alright in the end. Grandpa if you're reading this from somewhere up there, you know there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I love you very much. Take care of Grandma and Jesse until I get there. I keep saying that this isn't "goodbye" its just "see you later". I hope you're proud of the person I will become. Watch out for me Grandpa. I'll carry your spirit with me. I Love You! In Loving Memory of James Ronald Rieck: You will forever be in our hearts, we love you!

Jim was very special in the fact that he brought mom years of fun and travel. He had a special love for her that noone could deny.He was often ornery which inspired the twinkle in his eye...you never knew what he might be up to next.As grumpy as he could be,he was also the love of everybody's life. There will be a void in our life that is for sure, but with the grace of God and wonderful family we all shall get through it. Many thanks to the wonderful children Jim shared with us.You all know how special you truly are. God bless you,Grandpa Jim

Dad will be missed very much by me. I think the words that the sons said at the funeral put it for all of us. I wish to thank them for those kind words, they meant alot to Mom. To Dad: thanks for the memories.

To all who put a note in this Guest Book for James "Jim" Rieck, most of all Many Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Jim was my step-father, he was always very good to me, my husband Randy and especially to my children. He will be missed by many, many people. I know he will be greatly missed by his little Yorkie, Snickie. I guess right about now, he's up there some place in heaven, turning up the heat since it is a very cold and windy day. I thought of this since the kids are about 5 ft from the heat right now. Jim, if you're reading this from up there, we're waiting for the last word and you know how much we love and miss you. Good bye for now. Your step-daughter Mary. P.S. Please feel free to e-mail me if you want to talk to me.
