Jane Cruse Obituary

Jane Anne Elizabeth Cruse, 78, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025. She was born on August 17, 1946, to Ross W. and Virginia M. Cruse.

Jane lived a life full of faith, creativity, and laughter. With a keen eye for design, she found beauty in the details and was an avid music lover. She felt most at home in the desert, where she found inspiration in its quiet strength for the past 35 years.

Those who knew Jane will remember her quick humor, radiant smile, and ability to make people feel welcome. Her generous spirit and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her children: James Brett Easter of Atlanta, GA; Jamie Sheppard (Jim) of Chandler, AZ; and John Michael Easter (Carrie) of Charleston, IL. She was a proud grandmother to John M. Easter Jr., Jobie Sheppard, Natasha Easter, and Dru Howell.

Jane is also survived by her brother, Michael Cruse (Sheila), her nephew Mark Cruse (Hilde), and her niece Sarah Cruse Bertot (David).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the charity/cause of your choice.
