Wei Gao

After a ten year battle with cancer, Wei Gao quietly went to join Our Lord on February 4, 2023.
She is survived by her mother, Chunyan; her husband, Patrick Hall; and her daughter, Caroline Hall.
She was best known as a greeter at the Charleston, Illinois Walmart and enjoyed helping others.
A memorial service will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 903 Cleveland Avenue, Charleston, IL, beginning at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society.

I didn't know Wei well, but I delighted in her smile and the love she expressed whenever our paths crossed. That beautiful spirit of joy and kindness continues. I will miss seeing her on campus or at Wal-mart.
