Brenda Friar Obituary
Brenda Lee (Condray) Friar, 67, passed away serenely on the 26th of October, 2025. Born on the 21st of May, 1958, in Lafe, Arkansas, Brenda's journey through life was marked by her deep-rooted Christian faith, the simple joys she held dear, and the enduring love she shared with her great grand-children, family and friends.
Brenda spent her professional years cultivating cherished relationships at Seven Eleven and as a manager at Lonestar, where she was not just a colleague but a friend, mentor, and empathetic listener to many. Her dedication to her work was paralleled only by her commitment to her spiritual life. A devoted Christian, Brenda's devotion was most visibly expressed through her active participation in the Ministry on the Hill, where she not only nourished her soul but also provided unwavering support and guidance to the community she considered her second family.
An ardent lover of the great outdoors, Brenda found solace and excitement in deer hunting and the tranquil peace of fishing on the Black River. These pastimes reflected her deep appreciation for nature and God's creations, offering moments of reflection and tranquility away from the bustle of everyday life.
Brenda's approach to life was a testament to her character: a woman of simplicity who lived by a creed of faith, family, and friendship. Her presence was a haven of comfort and stability to those around her. She was the fulcrum of her family, offering love, wisdom, and laughter in equal measure. Her friends found a loyal confidante in Brenda, who upheld each relationship with sincerity and an unwavering sense of camaraderie.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Condray and Myrna Young; brother, Leroy Condray Jr; sister, Lola Jane; ex-husband, Lannie Huffman; and son-in law, Mickey Merrell.
