Brenda Marie Manning

Brenda Marie Manning, 65, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on October 28, 2025. Born on April 13, 1960, in Rockford, Illinois, to Dale Edward and Deloris Elaine Scheffers Runberg, Brenda lived a life marked by hard work and deep love.

Brenda was the former owner of the Sale Barn Café in Pocahontas, where her warm meals and welcoming spirit made the café a local favorite. She spent 16 years at Nestlé, earning respect for her dedication and kindness. Above all, Brenda was a devoted wife and mother. Her family was the heart of her world, and she poured her love into every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Charly Manning of the home; her children, Michael Joseph Manning, Haddie Mae Manning, and Lilly Bella Manning, all of the home; her mother, Deloris Runberg of Rockford, IL; her brother, Jeff Runberg of Rockford, IL; her sister, Roberta Korntved of Rockford, IL. and several cherished nieces and nephews whose memories she carried close.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Runberg, as well as her sister, Marsha Warner.

A visitation to celebrate Brenda's life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the life of a woman who gave so much to those around her.
