Frankie Armstrong Obituary

Frankie Lynn Armstrong, 69, of Trumann departed this life Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the family residence. He was born May 6, 1956 in Marked Tree, AR to the late Larry and Goldie Christine Armstrong. He lived most of his lifetime in the Trumann area. He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He loved drag racing, wrestling, smoking, detailing vehicles and collecting old money. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Gregory Scott Armstrong; granddaughter, Hailey Reeves; two sisters, Doris Jane Johnson, Diana Kay Dickinson; four brothers, David, Larry Jr., Bobby Ray and Ronnie Armstrong. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Armstrong of the home; three sons, Lee (Cindy) Reeves of Trumann, Jeffery Reeves of Bay, Anthony (Jamie) Armstrong of Jonesboro; two sisters, Regina Goodwin of Paragould, Teresa Johnston of Yellville, AR; seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 12:30 pm.-1:30 pm in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of life will follow at 1:30 pm with the Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating. Burial will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, AR under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Pallbearers are: Chevy Sullivan, Mike Sullivan, Earnie Link, Matt Mabe, Ashley Foster and Brian Foster. An online registry book can be signed at thompsonfuneralhome.net.
