Gary Bibb Obituary
Gary Dean Bibb, 62, died peacefully on August 17, 2025, at home on his family farm, surrounded by his wife, his many children and grandchildren, and his best friend Bill Courtney.
Gary was born September 6, 1962, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Billy and Wyeda Bibb. Gary began farming with his father when he was just a boy and his passion for farming and the outdoors continued to grow throughout his life. When he was not plowing fields, he could be found on the Black River catching fish. His family and friends remember him for his fish frying and hog roasting skills. Gary was also a skilled hunter who claimed to be so good he could "shoot the toes off a squirrel". He was a devoted father who passed along his knowledge, skills and love of farming to his children as well as his desire to always be close to his family. He always took time to be part of his kids and grandkids' lives, being involved with many rodeos and ball games. He also enjoyed taking them hunting and spending quality time together. Not only was Gary a dedicated father and Papa, but he was also a devoted husband. He and Teresa spent many loving years blending their families with 6 children and had many adventures together. There was never a dull moment. He was baptized and a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Pocahontas.
