Jean McLaughlin Obituary

Jean McLaughlin passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2025, surrounded by love and cherished memories. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 47 years, Wayne McLaughlin; her parents, Garlon and Leola Catt; her sister, Quilla Smith; and her brothers, Billy, Bobby, and Teddy Catt. Jean's life was a testament to grace, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her daughters, Julie O'Brien of Justin, Texas, and Alecia Ozimek of Orlando, Florida; her grandchildren, Michael (Nichole) Scott, Erin (John) Beaudry, and Sydney Ozimek; and her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Beck, Ayla, Colin, Sloane, and Emmy, who brought her endless joy and pride. Jean will be remembered for her warmth, her quiet strength, and the deep bonds she nurtured across generations. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be Friday, September 12, 2025, at 1 P.M. in the Larwrence Memorial Park with Bro. John Durham officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
