Marsha Downs Obituary

Marsha Michelle Downs passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, in her hometown of Paragould, Arkansas, at the age of 60. Born on July 28, 1965, to the late Jay and Betty Downs, Michelle grew up in a close-knit family and remained a lifelong resident of Paragould. Michelle is survived by her devoted sister and brother-in-law, Pauletta and Randy Hollis, and her loving brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Judy Downs. She was preceded in death by her dear sister, Ranae Shepherd, and her parents. Michelle also leaves behind a legacy of friendship, particularly with her special friend, Wiley Marvin, who stood by her through thick and thin. Michelle's interests were simple yet brought her immense joy. She was an avid television watcher, relishing in the stories and characters that came alive on the screen. Her love for jigsaw and word puzzles was unparalleled, providing her with hours of entertainment and a sense of accomplishment with each completed challenge. Michelle's passion for cookbooks was well-known among her friends and family. Her extensive collection was more than just recipes; it was a treasure trove of memories and aspirations.
