Nathan Pugh Obituary

Nathan Joseph Pugh, 52 of Paragould passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. He was born in Columbus, GA on November 7, 1973, to Gary Pugh and the late Libby Pugh.

Nathan was a 1993 graduate of Pocahontas High School during that time he was part of a team that won the State Golf Championship. In 1996 he graduated from Arkansas State University where he was a proud member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Faternity.

Nathan spent many hours doing what he loved most, which was hunting. Some of his happiest times were spent in the duck woods or on a deer stand.

In addition to his mother, Libby he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Ella Elizabeth; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Betty Lewallen; paternal grandparents, Carl and Ladell Pugh and Uncle, Larry Lewallen.

He leaves behind a loving family which includes his son, Eli Pugh; father, Gary (Nancy) Pugh; sister, Amy (Steve) Smith, stepsister, Lynn (Conagher) Lepley, Stepbrother, Justin (Gabriella) Patterson; nieces, Erin (Caleb) Howe, Ashlyn (Jake) Reed, Savannah Smith and three great nephews; Extended family, uncle Lloyd (Carol) Lewallen, Aunt Linda (Tommy) Campbell and aunt Vicki Lewallen along with many cousins and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Nathan’s Life to be held at a later date.
