Bobby Gene Dean, 85, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at his home.
He was born May 7, 1940, in Randolph County to the late Zaniel and Martha (Burgess) Dean.
Bobby worked as a tool and die maker and retired from Tenneco Automotive after 40 years of dedicated service.
On December 3, 1960, Bobby was united in marriage to Virgie Constance “Connie” Parks, and the couple shared 65 years together. In recent years, Bobby lovingly cared for his wife as her devoted caregiver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Dean.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, Connie Dean; his children, Bobby Jr.(Peggy) Dean of Pocahontas, Jeff Dean of Pocahontas; his grandchildren, Brandi (Bryce) Crawford of Rogers and Derek (Brianna) Dean of Pocahontas; and his great-grandchildren, Asher Dean, Hadley Dean, Mason Crawford, and Maci Palmer.
He is also survived by his brothers, Wayne (Anna) Dean of Pocahontas, Jerry (Sloria) Dean of Jonesboro, Jeral (Kathy) Dean of O’Kean, Danny (Becky) Dean of Paragould, and Randy (Rhonda) Dean of Pocahontas; his sisters, Nellie Lyle of Batesville, Joyce (Joe) Ball of Cherokee Village, Diane (Gene) Cullum of O’Kean, Carol (Shay) Carpenter of Jefferson City, Missouri; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on March 20, 2026, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Jeral Dean officiating. All service will be held at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Gardens.
Those honored to service as pall bearers are Derek Dean, Michael Dean, Vance Ball, Blaine Austin, Weldon Denton, and Ronnie Evans.
