Charles Owen Samons, 80, of Maynard passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center. He was born October 26, 1945 to the late Charlie Owen and Lillian Louvanna Jones Samons. He was a retired farmer.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Lillian Samons; and by his wife, Debra Samons; an infant son; and sister, Mermian Bellah.
Charlie is survived by his brother Olan (Mae) Samons of Stokes; nephews, Tim (Linda) Samons and Rob Samons of Maynard; nieces, Connie Venable of Ravenden Springs and Debbie (Pat) Prince of Pocahontas; several great nephews and great nieces; and other relatives and friends.
No services are scheduled. Cremation has been chosen at the method of final disposition under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
