Charles Russell "Chuck" Long

Charles "Chuck" Russell Long of Maynard departed this life Wednesday, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 56 years, 10 months and 4 days. He was born Monday, April 21,1969 in Rockford, IL and lived most of his lifetime in the Maynard area. Charles was a retired truck driver, first responder, and fire fighter. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, grilling and taking sporadic trips. He was preceded in death by his father, Benny F. Long, one brother, Edward Long, his first love, Sandra Long, and Dorraine Pierce. He is survived by his wife, Jasmine Long of the home; three sons, Matthew Hutchison, Donald David Long of Paragould, and Billy Jack Mix of the home; six daughters, Deltrina Dawn (Jason) Simpson of Paragould, Courtney Renee Mix of the home, Aubree Lynn Mix of the home, Antone Ray of Maynard, Alicia Pierce of Doniphan, Sarah (Will) Michel of Jefferson City, MO; his mother, Sue Herman of Maynard; one brother, Daniel Long of Maynard; three sisters, Sonya Long of Mena, AR and Julie (Logan) White of Pocahontas, Sonya (James) Monaghan of Doniphan, MO; eleven grandchildren, River Simpson, Cody, Joseph, Emma, Payton, Remington, Russell, Kynnleigh, Chloe, Spencer and Wilhelm.
