Rodney “Rod” Allen Cornelison departed this life on October 8, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born on February 26, 1970, in Jonesboro to Hugh and Donna Cornelison.
Rod was a proud Christian who lived life with heart and humor. He loved tinkering with RC cars, spending days fishing, and sharing his passion for music as a talented drummer. His creativity and easygoing spirit brought joy to everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Donna Cornelison, and his loving grandparents.
Rod is survived by his loving wife, Shari Cornelison; his son, Daniel Mannthey; his uncle, Jimmy (Frankie) Rowland; and his two best friends, Jeff Meeker and Keith “Ish” Ishmael.
