Scott Batterton Obituary

Scott Gene Batterton, 67, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas passed away on August 7, 2025 at his home. He was born on March 7, 1958 in Michigan to Elmer and Opal (Rice) Batterton. Scott enjoyed watching old black and white movies, tinkering with old muscle cars, working on boats, and spending time with family. Survivors include; wife of 40 years and longtime friend: Trenna Poff of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; one stepson: Jason Smith (Susie) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three step-grandchildren; three sisters: Mary Taylor of Haltom City, Texas, Carolyn Carr of Frisco, Texas, Emma Burger of Alvord, Texas; one sister-in-law: Sandy Batterton of Choudrant, Louisiana; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his parents: Elmer and Opal (Rice) Batterton; three brothers: Doyne "Don" Batterton, Thomas "Tom" Batterton, Bob Batterton; and three sisters" Jeanne McClelland, Wilma Jean Batterton, Janet Rose Batterton. The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
