LAKE CITY - Barbara A. Sutterfield, 86, passed from this life on March 2, 2025 in Lake City. She was born on Jan. 14, 1939, to Austin and Effie Qualls.
She spent most of her life in Jonesboro as a homemaker and caretaker for others. She was of the Baptist faith.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 60 years, Aubrey Sutterfield, and five brothers.
Survivors include her sons; Bryan Sutterfield of Lake City and Vance Sutterfield of Jonesboro, her brother Fred (Pat) Qualls of Lake City, grandson Johnny Sutterfield of Pocahontas, granddaughter Jessica (Daniel) McCracken and great-grandson Sutton McCracken of Paragould.
Services will be private under the direction of the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
