RAVENDEN - Carolyn Sue Conway Leggett, 76, of Ravenden, formerly of Trumann, departed this life Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born Nov. 3, 1948, in Memphis, to the late Aaron and Ethel Staggs Foshee.
She loved her kids and grandkids, she was their number one supporter, if she wasn't at the ball field, you could find her on a cruise ship with Linda Holman, or sewing with her friend Lavell Tippitt. She was a member of Laredo Baptist Church and worked at Baldwin Piano for 35 years. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jackie Lee "Duke" Conway; her parents; one brother, Tommy Foshee; one sister, Judy Stapleton; and her great niece Anna Beth Duncan.
She is survived by her husband, Coy Leggett, of the home; daughter, Lisa (Shorty) Jones of Jonesboro; two sons, Jason (Tena) Taylor of Trumann, Kenny Leggett of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Josh (Myca) Baker, Julia (Dennis) Nelson, Kara Taylor, Alexus (Alex) Taylor, Jeremy (Becka) Leggett, Michelle Leggett; and 13 great-grandchildren, Braxten, Chance, Kayden, Kenzley, Zailye, McKenzie, Maggie, Ledger, Jace, Laiklynn, Quaid, Bexley, and Lafe. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025 from 12:30 to 1:30 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 with Bro. Randy Britten officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.
