Carolyn Simino Obituary

JONESBORO - Carolyn Ann Simino passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at her home in Jonesboro, at the age of 77. She was born March 28, 1948 in Jonesboro to James Alvin and Opha Dale (Letner) Malone. Carolyn was a beautician and loved crafting, puzzles, coloring, gardening and teaching Sunday School. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmy Ray Simino; and two siblings Jim Malone and Martha Lawson.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Carolyn include her son, Scotty Ray (Rebecca) Simino; two daughters, Amy (Michael) Cox and Renea (James) Kirtley; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Chapel services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro, with Scotty Simino officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will precede the service and begin at 10 a.m.

Carolyn's grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
