BLYTHEVILLE - Delia Shippen Partlow, 87, of Blytheville, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
She graduated from Osceola High School and attended the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority.
Mrs. Partlow was an active member of the Mississippi County Library System. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Blytheville, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the American Colonists and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Circuit Judge Graham Partlow, her parents, Marguerite and Herbert Shippen, and her brother, William D. Shippen.
Mrs. Partlow is survived by her four children, Laura Partlow Foster (Mrs. John) of West Memphis, Dr. Charles Partlow and his wife Ruth of Columbia, S.C., Peggy Partlow Cameron (Mrs. Jack) of Brandon, Miss., and Elizabeth Partlow Grimes (Mrs. Jeff) of Florence, Miss.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Lib Shippen of Osceola; and her sister-in-law, Pat Partlow Williams of Madison, Miss.
The family is profoundly grateful to Mrs. Partlow's caregivers, Yvette Guyton and Whitney Guyton.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Blytheville. Burial will be private. The family will receive visitors immediately following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 701 W. Main St., Blytheville 72315, the Mississippi County Library, 200 N. Fifth St., Blytheville 72315, the Arkansas Northeastern College Scholarship established for Judge Graham Partlow, 2591 S. Division St., Blytheville 72315, or the donor's choice.
