JONESBORO - Evelyn Robinson, 93, of Jonesboro passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at her home. She was born Jan. 16, 1931, in Lynn to John Daniel and Mary Lee Casper.
Evelyn worked as a special ed teacher for 43 years. She taught in Kennett, Mo., Jacksonville, Fla., and Piggott. She loved sewing, embroidering, baking, quilting, reading the Bible, and caring for stray cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her oldest son, H. Frank Robinson II, and 10 siblings.
Survivors include her sons, Dan (Tammy) Robinson and Robb (Lisa) Robinson; grandchildren, Kathryn Robinson, Kristina Ray (fiancé, Jacob Lawrence), Josh Robinson, Chris (Ashley) Robinson, David (Alisha) Robinson, Brendan (Autumn Rock) Robinson and Christina (Reed) Copsey; and great-grandchildren, Dane Robinson, Laith Robinson, Maddox Robinson, Oliver Copsey and Elan Copsey.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Valley View Church of Christ with Spencer Furby officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. The burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Kennett Memorial Gardens in Kennett.
Those to serve as pallbearers include Josh Robinson, Chris Robinson, David Robinson, Brendan Robinson, Dane Robinson and Kathryn Robinson.
Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Simpkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Valley View Church of Christ or the humane society.
