TRUMANN - Mr. Guy Frank Smith, 85, of Trumann, departed this life on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Guy was born on Wednesday, June 26, 1940, in Harrisburg and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. Guy loved to fish, watch westerns, and take care of his wife. Guy worked at Singer Co. and Roach Manufacturing and was a member of Healing Hands Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Daisy Livingston Smith; one sister and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Cleaves Smith of the home; one son, Howard Smith of Jonesboro; one daughter, Teresa (Jim) Dunlap of Rogers; and two grandchildren, Taryn Shannon of Bentonville, and Amy Gwen Corbett of Jonesboro; three great-grandchildren, Vivian Shannon, Kate Shannon, and Mary Ryan Shannon.
The family received friends on Monday, Sept. 8, from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A celebration of life followed at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Anthony Patterson officiating. Burial followed in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg.
Pallbearers were Spencer Patterson, DeWayne Milton, C.D. Green, Mike Phillips, Anthony Milton, and Evan Francis.
