Jerry Roleson Obituary

ASH FLAT - Jerry Roleson was born in Jonesboro on Aug. 11, 1944. He passed away at his home in Ash Flat, on Nov. 2, 2024.

Jerry has a heart full of love and a smile that could light up a room, and he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His natural ability to lift the spirits of those around him and make them laugh was a true gift and a testament to his beautiful soul.

Jerry was a extraordinary man who embodied unconditional love. His love for his wife, Shirley, was a shining example of his compassionate heart, and it was clear to everyone that she was the love of his life.

Jerry's passion for politics and his enthusiasm for cardinals were just a few examples of his many interests. He also has a deep love for the Arkansas Razorbacks and mowing. But above all, Jerry's love for his family and his faith in Christ were the foundation of his life.

He is now celebrating in heaven, free from pain, and we will miss him dearly. Jerry now rests in heaven with his mother, father, sister, brother, his son and his daughter.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Roleson, brother, Mike Roleson, four daughters, three sons, 24 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Jerry will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 16, at First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village.
