John Huskisson Obituary

CARAWAY - John Theodore Huskisson, 55, passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born Feb. 3, 1969, in Bartow, Fla., to Don and Frances Milligan Huskisson.

He was a retired factory worker and a member of Refuge Baptist Church in Lake City. He loved riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar and singing. He had a very kind heart and would help anyone. His family meant everything to him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Huskisson of the home; son, Alex (Evelyn) Huskisson of Lake City; daughter, Johanna Benson of Lake City; sister, Teresa (Donnie) Summitt of New Caney, Texas; and grandchildren, Riley Huskisson, Ian Huskisson, Taylor Benson, Avery Benson and Greyson Benson.

Visitation will be held at noon Saturday at Gregg Funeral Home of Monette. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Earnhart officiating. Burial will follow in Caraway Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Brandon Summitt, Mason Summitt, Wesley Dunham, Phillip Gray, Ray Hightower and Alex Huskisson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Northcut, Luke Dinh, David Burdyshaw, Bill Gross and Gordon May.
