Leon Poley Obituary
JONESBORO - Leon Marshall Poley, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born Feb. 1, 1943, and raised by his grandmother, Hester Hendryx.
Leon served in the Army and worked for the Jonesboro Police Department as a sergeant and detective. He enjoyed shooting and collecting guns, riding and raising horses, and teaching concealed carry classes.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Jackie Jefferson Poley, and his infant son.
Those left to cherish the memory of Leon are his daughter, Feather Linn, friends, and neighbors.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Keesee Cemetery, 16767-17487 Arkansas 14, Yellville 72687.
