JONESBORO - Lorelee "Lorie" Drake, 83, of Jonesboro, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born Dec. 6, 1938, in Deshler, Ohio, to the late Herschel and Marvel Haley.
Lorie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jonesboro, where she served as a deacon. Lorie worked as a registered nurse most of her life, serving others. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, crocheting and gardening. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Vernon Drake of the home; two sons, Jeffrey Drake of Jonesboro and James (Shawn) Drake of Jonesboro; two daughters, Jackie (Dennis) Carter of Jonesboro and Janice (Adam) Fletcher of Jonesboro; sister, Patricia (Larry) Wink of Deshler; eight grandchildren, Drake Fletcher, Max Carter, Jack Fletcher, Molly Carter, Logan Drake, Caroline Drake, Emma Fletcher, all of Jonesboro, Jeremy Drake of Bentonville; and one great-granddaughter, Scarlett Drake of Bentonville.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at First Presbyterian Church of Jonesboro with the Rev. Matt Bussell officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, at Emerson Funeral Home.
