TRUMANN - Lynn Osment, 76, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born in Jonesboro and lived most of her life in Trumann.
She was employed by Dixie Gin and a member of First Baptist Church. Lynn loved anything pertaining to her grandchildren, especially their ballgames, meeting her 1966 classmates, and watching Hallmark movies.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Parnell, and her parents, Howard and Mary Orval Deloach Parnell.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Howard Osment of the home and Wesley (Autumn) Osment; one daughter, Emily Lynn Osment of Jonesboro; one brother, Ron (Kathy) Parnell of Trumann; four grandchildren, Christian Vinson, Andrew Osment, Dalaney Osment and Elizabeth Barfield; three great-grandchildren; and her lifelong friend, Sandra Jenkins of Trumann.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, 1301 Arkansas 69 West in Trumann. A celebration of her life will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. John Maley officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matt Moon, Scott Taylor, Don D. Walton, Chase Young, Jay Parnell and Randy Parnell.
Lasting memorials can be made to the Capital Improvement Fund at First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 575, Trumann 72472

Lynn, I'm sorry I didn't make it to your service. I was not told of your passing soon enough.
I first met you in your office. I loved talking to you the first time I met you. Your one of the sweetest lady's I've ever seen. I just wish I had more time with you. I enjoyed talking about our grandchildren. I will miss dearly. RIP
