JONESBORO - Patsy Jean Keller, 78, of Jonesboro, formerly of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her home. Patsy was born in Blytheville to Edward and Zola Reams Watson.
In 1967, she went to work as a budget analyst for Eaker Air Force Base before retiring in 1992. Patsy then worked for Stracener Brothers Construction as the payroll clerk before retiring again in 2012. She was a member of Ruddle Road Church of God but had attended The Rock in Jonesboro since moving there in 2018.
Patsy loved God and her church families. She enjoyed family get-togethers, especially during the holidays. She also enjoyed working in her yard, reading, a challenging puzzle, and animals.
Patsy cared for her husband until his passing in January 2023. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she loved and adored her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Richard Keller, her parents and a brother, Jim Watson.
Patsy is survived by her children, Vicki Keller Isbell and her husband James of Water Valley, Miss., and Lori Keller Ellis and her husband Dennis of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Amber VanDyke and her husband Josh, Blaine White and his wife Audra, Jeremy Ellis and his wife Holly, and Emily Ellis and Destiny Isbell; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, the Rev. Terry Watson and his wife Delana; and sister-in-law, Alice Watson of Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, June 30, at Ruddle Road Church of God with the Rev. Danny Pankey officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
